پولیس کے مطابق مذاق اور چھیڑ خانی کی وجہ سے لڑکوں نے پیٹرول چھڑک کر 20 سالہ فہد کو آگ لگائی تھی جبکہ فہد اے سی ورکشاپ پر کام کرتا ہے اور معمولی لڑائی جھگڑے کی وجہ سے ہی پیٹرول چھڑک کر آگ لگائی گئی ہے، گرفتار ملزمان نے بروقت واقعے کے بارے میں پولیس کو اطلاع نہ دی اور وقوعہ چھپائے رکھا۔
شاد باغ پولیس نے واقعہ میں ملوث ورکشاپ کے مالک سمیت 4 ملزمان نصراللہ، شہزاد، نواز اور وحید کو گرفتار کر کے تحقیقات کا آغاز کر دیا ہے جبکہ واقعہ میں ملوث فرار ملزمان کی گرفتاری کے لیے ریڈ کیے جا رہے ہیں۔
ایس پی سٹی کیپٹن ریٹائرڈ قاضی علی رضا کا کہنا ہے کہ عوام الناس کسی بھی ظلم و زیادتی کے بارے فوری پولیس کو اطلاع دیں۔
